LOW COST INTERNET SERVICES – STUDENTS ON FREE LUNCH
As our school district continues to move more and more to electronic communication and "anytime, anywhere" learning opportunities, it will be vital to have our students able to access the Internet from home. Cable giant Comcast has assisted us in getting more homes connected. Comcast will provide low-cost Internet service to families of students who receive free lunch at school. Through the Internet Essentials program, qualified families in all communities where Comcast is available can receive Internet service for just $9.95 per month, with no activation fees or future price hikes. Families can also receive a voucher to purchase a Netbook computer for $149.99 and receive training either in person or online.
How to qualify:
- have at least one child receiving free school lunches
- have not subscribed to Comcast Internet within last 90 days.
- cannot have an overdue Comcast bill

- Call 1-855-846-8376 to request an application.
- Comcast will mail families an application. Complete and return it,
along with lunch program documents from your child’s school
